Why I Started This Site

While studying child development in college, I realized that so much valuable research never reaches the parents who need it most. That inspired me to create this site—to bridge the gap between science and everyday parenting and provide practical guidance that families can trust and use.

During my college studies in child development, I was fascinated by how research could shape parenting practices. I realized that while the science was there, it wasn’t always accessible to parents. That inspired me to create a resource that translates research into practical, everyday guidance.

Studying Child Development

In college, I worked on a research project about early childhood learning and noticed how many parents struggled to apply these findings at home. That experience showed me the gap between research and real-life parenting—and motivated me to build this site.

College Research Project

While interning at a child education center in college, I saw firsthand how evidence-based strategies improved children’s development. I wanted to make these insights available to more parents, so they could use research-backed methods at home.

Internship Experience

College opened my eyes to how parenting practices impact lifelong learning and emotional growth. I wanted to share this knowledge with families in a simple, practical way, so research could actually support everyday parenting decisions.
